Unknown (2006)

Genre: Crime/Action/Thriller/Mystery
Starring: Jim Caviezel, Greg Kinnear, Bridget Moynahan, Joe Pantoliano, Barry Pepper, Jeremy Sisto
What happens when you wake up in some place where you have no recollection of how you got there and who are all the people with you? What happens when all of these people have no memory and everyone is stuck in a unknown warehouse? Five men find themselves waking up inside a warehouse, each of them badly bruised or hurt in some way or the other and having no recollection of each other, who they are and what are they doing here. The only thing that they do know is that some of them are the kidnappers and some are the victim, but who is who? What they do know is that some members of the gang who captured them are going to return in a few hours and by then they need to figure a way out of the warehouse. The movie poses a very interesting plot that could get anyone curious to know what happens. Even though the movie does incorporate a good amount of twists and surprises it does not seem enough to label this movie as being very good. It had a plot that gave it quite a few possibilities for interesting ways of developing it but sadly the movie falls short of the ‘wow’ mark. An interesting mystery that could have been far better.
Thumbs up: Great plot
Thumbs down: Bad execution
Rating: 6.3/10
